Graduate employment statistics are amongst the highest in the sector, and their research has recently been assessed as ‘World Leading’ – and is unique in the realm of drama conservatoires. The ratio of undergraduate applications to places is the highest of any UK university.

Outreach Provision

They offer workshops for Year 12 and 13 students studying drama and/or art and design courses. They can visit your school to present projects, productions, workshops and activities. Activities include:

Workshops Led by Central Students

Central’s Student Ambassadors can visit your school to deliver activities about preparing for drama and theatre in Higher Education. Ambassadors have to successfully complete Central’s training programme and undergo an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

Workshops Led by Lecturers and Practitioners

Central’s experienced lecturers and practitioners offer the following workshops and master classes to help prepare students for the specialist undergraduate pathways. Lecturers and practitioners all undergo an enhanced DBS check.

  • Prop Making Workshop – 2 hours
  • Interview/Portfolio Workshop - 2 hours
  • Acting Master Class - 2 hours
