In recent months the Prime Minister has set new national goals to widening participation to higher education and proposals have been rolled out for a new Office for Students to promote and protect the interests of students. Building on these events, this Conference will bring together key stakeholders from across sectors both inside and outside the capital to examine how to engage with the issues facing students from underrepresented groups and to support students from all backgrounds to achieve improved outcomes.

It will focus particularly on the role of students in shaping the access to higher education agenda and the importance of collaboration in driving better outcomes across the student lifecycle.
