The Languages Study Skills Summer School is centred on the Bollywood film Bajrangi Bhaijaan. The film tackles themes of cultural diversity, language barriers, national identity and religion. Students will discuss these themes and will take part in a debate around these themes.

The aim of the Summer School is to get students to reflect on their current methods of studying and assess whether there are alternatives that may better suit their learning style. The focus is on language study skills but there will also be general study skills sessions.

Students will receive daily beginner Hindi classes. During these classes, they will be able to put the language study skills theory into practice.

The Summer School is non-residential so we cannot provide accommodation.
