Activities

Are you a budding historian? Would you like to gain more insight into studying History at university? If you enjoy analysing facts and exploring sources then be a part of the SOAS History Summer School.

During the summer school you will attend lectures by leading academics, debate key issues, engage in study skills sessions to sharpen up your critical thinking ability and find out about the UCAS process and how to make your personal statement stand out. You will also meet and work with current SOAS students as well as getting to ask recent graduates about their experiences.

This summer school is for students in year 12 attending state schools and colleges within the UK. Priority should be given to those who would be the first in their family to attend university in the UK; this is a widening participation activity designed to give students a first-class experience of study at HE level.

To apply for the summer school please complete an online application formby Friday April 5th 2019. If you wish to apply to more than one summer school you only need to complete the application form once and indicate your order of preference.
