What is it?

Free music workshops to introduce participants to instruments and music from across the world in order to facilitate intercultural understanding and cross-cultural communication, and to provide valuable insights into under-represented musical cultures

 How does it work?

The workshops are delivered in an adaptable structure based on a carousel of sessions, working with three groups of up to 15 learners at a time (so around 45 in total).  They can be delivered over a day or half-day, either at your school or at SOAS. Content will be adapted to the year group. The project is led by Georgie Pope, coordinator of the SOAS World Music Summer School, together with expert ‘world music’ teachers.
