Activities

This popular session allows teachers to bring classes to the Royal Veterinary College to find out about how animal physiology works, first hand!

Pupils can listen to a real horse’s heart for themselves, or when our animals are on holiday, we substitute a vet skills session. Groups visit our anatomy museum and find out about different species and their bones. The visit involves a careers talk appropriate to year group, and we differentiate to suit pupils’ background knowledge.
